It coordinates the study of language with culture through the use of video, audio, and mass media. This course introduces the fundamentals of German conversation and grammar. Students will begin to develop a functional competency in the four primary language areas: Speaking, reading, listening, and writing; and establish a solid grammatical base. In the second semester, students will further develop their skills in pronunciation, grammar, grammar structures, and vocabulary.
