This course provides an in-depth background to the person of Jesus, the Son of God and our risen Savior and LORD, based on key teaching from both the Old and New Testaments, as well as the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Children will reflect on God\u2019s goodness in Creation, as well as the unfortunate reality of original sin, which can be seen around us in a fallen world. As children are taught to think more closely about the good and bad choices that we make in our everyday lives the concept of sin is gradually introduced. They are taught that sin is a deliberate choice, which is contrary to the love of God revealed to us in Jesus, which makes us unhappy.
